My Passion

If i had to have one passion in life it would be HIV/AIDS education.  I joined a peer education team in high school that went around and presented information on HIV/AIDS and STDs.  Six year laters it is still my passion.  Ive gotten the opportunity to go to Ghana and see for myself how AIDS affects people in Africa.  This video from Mediastorm is very powerful and brings this epidemic to real life.  Right now there are 39.5 million people in this world suffering from HIV. 22 million are in Africa (http://www.avert.org/aafrica.htm).  This is such a huge problem in the world and could be reduced greatly with proper preventive education.
